The Inverted Pendulum game/simulation have been used in an introductionary math course for cybernetics students (Teknostart) at NTNU for three years. The simulation/game has been very well received by the students.
The goal is to control an inverted pendulum by using different control strategies, it is also possible to try to keep the pedulum in an uprised position manually.
The user will be able to adjust the different parameters of the system; mass of the wagon, mass of the pendulum, length of the pendulum and then see how the changes in these parameters influence the system.
Use left and right arrow to control the wagon.
